Oboe Bench - Oboe Mobile Foundation

The Oboe Bank provides a high quality oboe to student applicants in Puerto Rico who lack the resources to purchase an instrument. Elementary, intermediate and high school students benefit from this program. In addition, university students pursue their high school studies thanks to this program, since they receive tuition exemption when participating in institutional musical groups.

Checklist - The following should be included with this application

The student should write a letter explaining his/her interest in the oboe and short and long term goals. Include a description of the instrument he/she currently uses and reasons for requesting to borrow an instrument.

Biographical data including list of current activities.

Letter of recommendation from your instrument teacher or music program. Please include the name, phone number, mailing address and e-mail address of the person writing the letter.

Two additional letters, please include the name, telephone number, mailing address and e-mail address of each reference.

A current photo. This photo will be used for publicity purposes if your application is approved and will not be used to determine program eligibility.
