My name is Yarelis Irizarry, and I was an oboe student of Dr. Frances Colón for 4 years. I practiced at the Escuela Libre de Música de Ponce, where she was going to educate me on the instrument. Thanks to her, the Oboe Mobile Foundation gave me the wonderful opportunity to have an oboe with which I performed in that institution, both in the Symphony Orchestra and in the A Band. It opened many doors for me, as I had the joy of playing in the Symphonic Experience with the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra, alongside the best musicians in the country, among others. As I continued to be part of the Foundation, I participated in several events of the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico, such as the Oboe Workshops. All these experiences, on an educational level, helped me to create patience, organization and continue with the discipline that all professions entail, in order to achieve my goals. On a personal level, I grew a lot, I observed other perspectives as a musician that I still apply today. I recently completed the requirements for Dietetic Internship in the Coordinated Program of Nutrition and Dietetics at the Ana G. Mendez University Gurabo Campus, and while doing community rotations, I used music as a teaching tool to apply a different concept of learning. I am extremely proud of the Oboe Mobile Foundation for having created in me, a being of good for society, disciplined, determined and with a lot of enthusiasm and passion for what I do. thank you infinite! 💙

Oboe Mobile Foundation has been of great help to all the young people of that instrument. For several years, they have contributed to the teaching of the oboe in our school, promoting that our young people want to continue their studies in a university institution. Oboe Mobile Foundation goes hand in hand with our institution since our mission is to motivate all our students and promote enthusiasm so that they want to play their musical instrument. Several of our students who benefited from the foundation have continued their studies in different universities that offer music related degrees. We attest to the great work that the foundation offers and the desire to contribute a grain of sand to the teaching of the oboe.

I loved it. It is a program that is interactive; I liked the dynamic that each of the songs were motivated by different manipulatives. The children were very dynamic, very enjoyable [the programming], so I encourage you to give Kinder Oboe a chance to come to your schools.
